Winter Cup 2015 – Schedule Changes
Due to the weather prediction of sleet and freezing rain in the Clifton area tomorrow morning and mid-day,tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) sessions of Winter Cup (Session 1 & 2) have been rescheduled to Sunday, February 1st.
Sunday’s sessions (Sessions 3-5) will go on as scheduled.
For those of you who were planning to work the sessions tomorrow (Saturday), I hope you can join us next Sunday, February 1st. A revised schedule for next Sunday will be issued shortly.

Parking information for the Winter Cup Meet on 1/24 & 1/25 is as follows:
On Saturday January 24th, the Boys and Girls Club of Clifton parking lot will not
be available until after 1PM. Your parking options are as follows:
1) You may park anywhere on the surrounding streets
2) Clifton Adult Opportunity Center located at 900 Clifton Avenue (access
from Van Houten Avenue or Colfax Avenue)
3) Clifton Elks Lodge located at 775 Clifton Avenue (cross street of Colfax
Ave)
On Sunday January 25th, your parking options are as follows:
1) Boys and Girls Club of Clifton located at 181 Colfax Avenue
2) You may park anywhere on the surrounding streets

TOUCH THE WALL MOVIE EVENT!!!
Swim Parents and Swimmers,
As you may know, next week, on Thursday, January 29th, from 7:30 – 9:16 PM, we are organizing a team trip to see an IMAX movie at the AMC Clifton Commons 16. The name of the movie is Touch the Wall, and it is about Olympic Gold Medalist Missy Franklin and Kara Lynn Joyce, and their journey of training together for the 2012 London Olympics.
We believe that it is important to foster friendships and a strong sense of belonging among our swimmers. We want to encourage our swimmers to create memories that they may be fond of both in and outside of the pool. For these reasons, we want to have as many of our swimmers and parents join us for this event. Not only will our swimmers enjoy time out with their friends, but they will also have an opportunity to relate their own swimming experiences to those of Olympic athletes and hopefully be inspired by the stories of the Olympic swimmers.
